Not bad

Not bad, but a little repetetive. Pretty good for such a small file size. The course needs a little variety (turns, etc). You also forgot something that every snowboarding game has: tricks. If you can add ramps and stuff, it would make the game a lot more fun. You could even let the player customize their board colors or something.

Very nice

Well done, I enjoyed it. It's a little annoying that the first few stages are so slow, even though the next levels speed up.

Look forward to playing the full version

Looks very promising. If you can develop this into a full game, you'll have a winner. I'm not sure if you've already got a plan but:
Try some method of dodging or evading enemies (ex: duck, jump, etc.) Otherwise, you just walk back and forth and hope you can blast the other guy before he shoots you.

You might want to make the battle engine a smaller part of a larger game. An rpg or something. You might also want to add ammo limits and money to buy better weapons.

Potential

I think that this game has potential. It would be cool to have a two player option. You should also add things on the track like powerups or coins to collect.

If you really wanted, you could get add a ton of stuff. Have you ever played "Super Off Road" for the 16-bit systems? If not, download the ROM from somewhere. You earn money by winning races and use it to upgrade your car. You can collect money and Nitro boost fuel on the track. You might want to make the tracks a little bigger and more complicated (ie: more turns or obstacles). You could also add random decorations alongside the track.

This could turn out to be a really nice game.

thanx for the idea of two player mode. i will have to make the track a bit wider for that i think. i not too good at actionscript so powerups and coins are out of my league i think. i don't even know how to make a counter(score)??

I've learned a lot about animation and programming over the years, but wish I had more time to practice...
