A very nice tutorial
I appreciate the fact that some NG users share their random techniques with the rest of the community. I've seen dozens of bad pre-loader tutorials, but this is unique, yet useful.

Thanks.
Nice
That was fun. It'd be cool if you could get different weapons and things like that. You could even add ammo limits and turn it into a more complex shooting gallery if you wanted.
One bug: the score variable doesn't reset when you start a new game.
Soz bout that bug... I'll get it sorted right now!
Thanks for your review!
Unique
Well, it's unique. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. It's very fast paced, very random, and very difficult. Without the spoiler, most of the games wouldn't make any sense at all. Still, it was original.
Unique is a good thing, I assure you.
Good, especially for a stick game
Well done. Animation and gameplay were both good. I appreciated the variety of weapons. It was a bit choppy though, you might want to increase the framerate and add more frames. Also, the black sticks were a little hard to see since the backgrounds were dark. I look forward to playing the next part.
Very Nice!
I never thought that dueling spheres could be so interesting. I'd love to see a full RPG. The battle engine would be even cooler if there were multiple enemies/allies, etc. I think you know where to go from here.
Nice!
Very simple game, simple graphics, small file size, yet entertaining. It would make a good pre-loader game. It kills time and is addictive.
Thanks. :)
Not a bad idea about making it a pre-loader. Unfortunately though, all my stuff seems to load instantly...
I'm sure I'll make a bigger game sometime though. ,)
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the review. :)
An okay start
There's still a lot that you need to work on. Fix the actionscript, after you unlock the weapons, you don't die. Add more weapons and enemies. Maybe have them attack in waves where they get faster and stronger.
Nice, but it's been done before
A flash has been uploaded to Newgrounds that is almost exactly the same in content. Still, this flash was well done.
Not bad...
...but plenty to work on. You need to clean up the action script. If you go backwards, you scroll off the screen. You should steadily scroll forwards at a minimum rate, but be able to move faster if you want (like '1943' or any classic scrolling game). You also need to work on the collision detection script.
After that, add different enemies, weapons, powerups, etc. and it'll look pretty good.
I've learned a lot about animation and programming over the years, but wish I had more time to practice...
