Very slick

A nice change of pace for a sprite film. Very well animated and very smooth. The tweened walking added a little humor to it, but didn't make the movie look too cheesy. One thing that bugged me was that the movie wasn't cropped properly, you could see past the bars on the top and bottom. Other than that, it was great. I'd love to see the next part!

cap123 responds:

yeah sorry about that problem, i've put it right though. Thanks for the review :)

So funny, so true

That was great. Graphics and animation were good enough, but could be better. It was funny and original though. I always hated the fact that companies could get away with saying anything if they admitted that the statements weren't evaluated by the FDA and that the product wasn't meant to "diagnose, prevent, or treat any disease." Keep up the good work!

Well done!

That was great. Nice action sequences and a little comedy too. Well drawn, well animated, and original. Reminded me of "Battle Chess" for my old Atari ST back in the good ol' days... Keep up the good work!

Oh, and the preloader was good and all, but it might look better if you tween a layer mask over the fill for the pawn instead of tweening the actual fill. That way the outline will fill up as the movie loads.

Thanks SO FREAKIN' MUCH.

I was trying to figure out how to do that, but I just gave up. That seriously helps a lot. Thanks.

Here's the thing...

I could tell you spent time on this, but you need to add more. The full movie needs more than just a transformation scene, but I'm sure you already knew this. Try smoothing your drawings out so they don't look so choppy. Your real problem though, is the filesize. You really need to lower the audio quality to save on space. Plus, change the audio sync type to "stream." That'll cut out the part of the song after the movie and will prevent it from overlapping if they replay it. And it will decrease the file size by a lot. Good luck.

The-Iron-Fist responds:

how do I make the screen size of my movie file smaller?

Nice

That was pretty good, i don't know why it's not scoring better. It was a little choppy at times, but was pretty well done over all. Now make something longer, add sound effects and a plot, and you'll have something very nice.

Very well done

Good flash with good points. Hopefully, people will learn a lesson from this. You have done Newgrounds a great public service. I thank you.

Very well done

Graphics were beautiful. This flash movie was incredibly well done. It was humerous too. My one suggestion is to increase the framerate. Everything looks like it's in slow motion. A higher framerate would speed it up and make it look realer and more fluid. Keep up the good work.

Lambi responds:

Ive gotten a few comment about speeding up my framerate, Ill be doing that from now on.

I agree!

I've never heard that joke before, it's hilarious. While the presentation was a bit tedious and repetitive, the film was well done over all. Keep up the good work.

Awesome

That was hilarious. I loved Square One back in the day as well. They just don't make educational TV like they used to... Keep up the good work.

Awesome

That was wonderfully surreal. I look forward to seeing the next installment. Keep up the good work.

I've learned a lot about animation and programming over the years, but wish I had more time to practice...
